Join me and learn the secrets of Wire Knitting while completing your very own Wire Lampshade. 

You will receive video instruction, enough wire to complete your lamp, a pdf pattern and a Zoom class led by me. The patterns vary from very easy to more challenging.

No previous experience of knitting with wire is required. No previous lace knitting experience is required.

As the inspiration for these lampshades was the fine lace knitting developed by Shetland knitters in the past some of the footage will be shot on location on a Shetland Croft.

UK customers can order their own Lucy Lamp Duo lamps from John Lewis. If you are outside the UK you can supply your own Tvarfot or Tiarp lamp from Ikea. The patterns are written to fit either of these three lamps. 

As well as enjoying sharing in your wire knitting journey, I like to ensure you finish your projects so this class is run through Zoom over 6 hours with breaks. A follow up class will be arranged if necessary to ensure you complete your project.
