Knitters Collection

Knitters Collection - Tree of Life Collection

Signifying new life, growth and the eternal cycle, the Tree of Life is a popular motifs in many cultures. In Shetland knitting it is used in both Shetland Lace knitting and in Shetland Fair Isle knitting. It sits particularly well in the traditional hand knit yoke patterns and has seen somewhat of a recent revival. This collection was created to celebrate this symbol of life and hope.

Knitters Collection – Instructions

These were inspired by the code used in knitting patterns. When worn, viewed and understood, they act as a silent recognition of each other’s passion for textiles.

Knitters Collection - Colour Play

The original inspiration for these was the dot patterns created in old notebooks that knitters used to keep a record of their Fair Isle patterns.  As an (almost) lifelong Fair Isle knitter I love colour and colour combining and can pass many happy hours simply arranging and rearranging coloured yarn and dreaming of the garments I could create.  This collection allows you to play with colour and dream of the fabulous knitting you could do.

Start with a mootie stud and then add coloured cups. With a mootie stud you can add up to two cups.
