Inspired by the pieces of birch bark driftwood that float to Shetland from Canada. These float across the Atlantic ocean and wash up on our shores. They are gathered anx kept for display or used as firelighters. In Shetland they are known by many different names including Loki’s Candles or Willie Lowe.
