My Public Art commission for the New Shetland Museum and Archives. Each lampshade uses a different Shetland Lace Pattern. I used 0.71mm aluminium wire to ensure the patterns showed up when the lights were on. This restaurant has become a popular location for weddings and other special occasions. I like to think that my lampshades contributed to this in some small way.
I now teach workshops in making table lamps using the same method. See my Workshops area for further details.
